The Maharashtra Real Estate Appellate Tribunal recently negotiated a case in which it was stated: “Letter of award It is quite obvious that the developer has accepted the sale and the Allottees have agreed to buy the apartment at a price agreed in the award. Although the letter of assist was executed in November 2012, it is almost an agreement between the developer and the Allottees to sell the apartment. Once the letter of assist has been issued, the customer must proceed with the balance in such a way that the total amount paid is 10% of the total lump sum value.
